Yes, an “About” page is something people don’t always think much about, but it really does help to build a connection with your readers.
Visuals can make a difference, but I think they work best when they actually add to the page rather than just being there for the sake of it. A good profile picture, maybe a behind the scenes shot, or even a short intro video can help, as long as it feels natural. Personally, I just go for the image!
